This particular cabin was originally named the Pioneer, but
has been recently redecorated and renamed the Patriot. Everywhere
you look there is red, white and blue - from the hand-painted
red wood shelves featuring Old Glory in various types of décor,
scented candles and attractive arrangements, to the red and
white lamps that softly illuminate the cozy living room. The
Patriot is one of our more secluded cabins, since it is located
at the end of the road, nestled among pine trees galore. Handcrafted
furniture made of bent willow tree branches and a pine-trestle
table add to the rustic charm of this cabin. Three types of
wood (oak, hickory and pine) form the banister to the bedroom
loft. A handmade pine-log bed with an Americana hand-stitched
quilt and star-spangled denim and tapestry pillows complete
the bedroom ensemble.
